This Archive, previously in www.loredanacappelletti.it, was first created in 2007 as part of the Project No. P 16768-G02 funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF); it was expanded furtherly during the Projects no. P 22063-G18 (2010-2012) and no. P 25418-G18 (2013-2016) funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The Bibliographical Archive contains the modern scientific bibliography – currently over 9000 titles – on the political and constitutional history of Etruscans, Italiotes, Italians, populations of Ancient Sicily and all their individual communities in pre-Roman and Roman times. In addition, there are also bibliographical sections by topic, as “Social War” (90-88 BC) and “Municipalization/Colonization/ Romanization” in Italy, Sicily and provinces of the Roman Empire.
In each section, titles follow a chronological order, from the most recent to the oldest contribution. Articles and books published in the same year follow an alphabetical order. The content of some titles is described briefly.
