Translation: “(Keep) straight or good vacat Chios |ephoros Aristodamos”.  (J.Piccinini)

Findspot:  Chiote amphora found in 1983 in an ancient dump, in the courtyard of the Istituto Tecnico Righi, within the parallel streets via Dante/via D’Alò Alfieri and via Giovine/via Maturi at Tarentum.

Dating: 325-300 BC (DE JULIIS – CAGNAZZI 2005).

Support: Titulus pictus on shoulder of a transport amphora.
